NOTHING HALF BAKED ABOUT THIS FABULOUS DISH…


Of course, the creatively designed presentation holder certainly adds to the overall appreciation of the meal comprising baked stuffed crabmeat and topped off with a layer of cheese. 



It’s a regular dish when dining at One Harbour Road, the Michelin star Chinese restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.


I rather proudly introduced the dish last week to a few visitors from Australia and New Zealand who were in Hong Kong for the horse racing in the city, and which might have been the biggest win of their stay. 


Fabulously tasteful and filling, one wouldn’t start with this dish. Instead, hold it for the third or fourth course.


Executive Chinese Chef Chan Hon Cheong, below, is a culinary genius, and we’re hoping to taste what this brilliant baked stuffed crabmeat dish might taste like with a layer of caviar.
