Audrey Hepburn (in disguise)

Timeless, ageless, stylish. They’re all words that have been used to describe actress, humanitarian and one-time UNICEF ambassador Audrey Hepburn.

To me, she’s perfection personified. I’ve watched every movie she’s made and read up on pretty much everything written about her with “Moon River”, the theme from “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” being my all-time favourite song.

What I hadn’t done was write a song as a tribute to the wonderful lady. And then Kat, who works with me in editing all the videos we produce, mentioned coming across stock footage of Audrey Hepburn.

It didn’t take me long to write the chorus to the song and speak to Phil Turcio in Melbourne with whom I work on the music we make.

Phil didn’t need to be briefed twice. He got it and brought in our friend Judd Field for the vocals.

That was that and this is “You’re Audrey Hepburn (in disguise)”, a musical tribute to Audrey Hepburn and a salute to strong and good women everywhere.
