For his birthday today, Ringo Starr asked the world to wish each other Peace and Love at noon from wherever they were.

Today is Ringo’s 81st birthday, and so, with a little help from his millions of friends, the world came together to give Peace and Love a chance and to remind each other that all we need is Love.

Sounds simple, right? It was a simple wish, and many of us were happy to spread the word.

At a time when the world is in such upheaval and turmoil and overrun with negativity, fear, terror, anger and evil, we need Peace and Love more than ever.

We owe each other Peace and Love, and we need to look at ourselves as being catalysts for making Peace and Love happen.

If we can come together in the name of Peace and Love for one day, there’s no reason why we can’t share this greeting every day.

It’s also a timely reminder that there’s a lotta good out there.

And good always triumphs over evil.
